About Me
Dr Elyse is a clinical psychologist with over 10 years' experience. Her focus is helping people move through the transitions that reshape who they are — the path to parenthood (fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and the early years), and the process of building an adult life you actually want, whether that's establishing relationships, building a career, or working out who you are in your twenties. She also works extensively with men — on relationships, identity, and what it means to show up well in the world today.
Underneath all of this is the same core belief: lasting change comes from understanding the patterns underneath a problem, not just managing what shows up on the surface. So often we hang on and hope things will simply get better with time — but with the right support, things can shift much sooner than that.
Having worked in private practice across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with corporate clients on employee wellbeing, in group treatment in inpatient facilities, teaching psychology and medical students, and supervising psychologists, Elyse brings a wide range of skills and perspectives to therapy.
Elyse takes her own clinical growth seriously engaging in deliberate practice, regular structured supervision, and investing heavily in ongoing professional development.
Elyse's qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy and International Relations), Graduate Diploma in Psychology, Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology, Master of Psychology (Clinical), and a PhD on the topic of mental load in parenting.
