Dr Elyse McNeil
Clinical Psychologist, PhD
Who I work with
I work with people navigating major life transitions — the path to parenthood (fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and the early years), building an adult life you actually want (establishing relationships, building a career, figuring out identity), and the deeper work of understanding old patterns so you can change what isn't working. I also work extensively with men — on relationships, identity, and figuring out what it means to show up well as a man right now
Individual
Therapy
One-on-one sessions focused on understanding the patterns underneath what isn't working, and building real, lasting change — for pregnancy and postpartum, major life transitions, or the work of becoming who you want to be.

Telehealth
Appointments via Zoom make care easy and accessible wherever you are — ideal if you're managing early parenthood, work, or simply prefer therapy from home. Contact Elyse to arrange a Telehealth appointment
Research
Dr Elyse's PhD (QUT) examined couples' experience of mental labour — research that continues to inform how she thinks about relationships, identity, and the invisible work of change.
